Pine Creek Peak

November 7th 2009

This was one of the best scrambling hike I have ever done. I have joined Branch Whitney's hike more than 20 times and did many scramble hike, but this hike was the BEST.
I could say Bridge Mtn. and Charleston Peak via Big Fall or Carpenter Canyon were best scramble hikes....until today.
The hike start from Pine Creek. Then suddenly started scramble....and kept scrambling until the peak. Multi class 2 - 3 scrambling with some exposure.
Since Most of the hikers on this hike were experienced, I was really confortable to taking care of the rear of group.
It took us little less than 3 hours to the Peak.
After we spent 20 minutes at the peak, we descended into Pine Creek then followed all the way back to the trailhead.
