Mt.Wilson via Hidden Bowl

December 6th 2009

I was going to Bryce Canion camping trip on this weekend, but the trip had canceled due to the weather. They said the temperature will goes down to -10 degree !! And its unacceptable.
Fortunately, I had 'Plan B'. Paul Kuroda asked me to come Mt.Wilson hike.
We (Paul Kuroda, Mike T, Chris A, Olexandra) met little after 6AM and started hiking around 6:30AM. The weather was beautiful, but it was cold.
I have done this hike once back in March with Branch Whitney. So, I brought the track data on my GPS.
Branch Whitney came here few weeks ago and he did great job on the trail. The trail is now well cairned and brush free!! We made it to the peak little under 4 hours. The peak temperature was 25 degree. Also, it was windy. So, feeled like hell. Its super cold and hard to write a sign in book.
We descended ordinaly route and completed in 8 hours. It was great hike.
